Dirt Factory is delivered by a passionate staff and management team. Our love for bikes, spades and bringing people together has been harnessed within the development of Dirt Factory. We are using our shared passion constructively to bring mountain biking and BMX to a much wider audience.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

DIRT FACTORY CREW

The Dirt Factory Crew is our team of skilled volunteers who support Dirt Factory in return for free ride time and other benefits.

Whether you’re looking to gain experience in the leisure and recreation industries or just passionate about bikes, Dirt Factory will offer you the chance to build your skills, knowledge and experience in a fun and friendly environment.

For those selected to join the Dirt Factory Crew, in return for helping out at our bike park, we’ll offer free ride time, training, personal development and skills for life. All Dirt Factory Crew members will be supervised and mentored by a member of our staff team.

In our latest round of recruitment we’re looking to fill the following Dirt Factory Crew roles:

  • 5 x Trail Stewards – Help to keep the trails flowing smoothing and ensure all riders enjoy their time at the Dirt Factory Manchester. This role is part customer service, part trail maintenance.
  • 2 x Bike Mechanics – Help to serve customers in our bike shop and keep the hire fleet of bikes in tip top condition. This role will involve customer service, carrying out bike checks, adjustments and basic maintenance.
  • 2 x Media Assistants – Help to document the community of riders who enjoy the Dirt Factory trials and spread the word about Dirt Factory online. This role will involve creating social media and web content to excite and engage.
