School Pump Track Fun
21/07/2021Inside Update
21/08/2021After a two year sabbatical, Ard Rock Enduro, one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the UK, returned to the Yorkshire Dales. It was amazing to see people racing, having fun and hanging out again, something which the mountain bike community has been deprived of recently.
The Dirt Factory team was on hand running the modular pump track, which was free to use throughout the entire festival. The pump track is always a great attraction for the young shredders as well as the big kids, who were keen to warm up before setting off on the epic 45km loop.

On the Saturday night we hosted the unofficial Pump Track Championship, a cat and mouse head to head between the eight fastest riders who submitted a lap time. Young Jacob, one of the reserve riders stepped in to take victory before Leo Smith (@landosteeezy) ran out of steam and Mike Taylor (@jerseyt) washed out on one of the corners.
Before we knew it, it was time to start packing up. Hopefully we will be back in 2022, perhaps with our air bag too. Congrats to Jabob and all the racers who took part in both the pump track battle and Enduro events. Thanks to Ard Rock and all the crew for the good times.
