Harry Main drops in to Dirt Factory
14/05/2019Exclusive Trade Event for UK Dealers
14/08/2019A huge thanks to everyone who joined us for the Pop-Up Launch Event of the Dirt Factory Pop-Up indoor bike park.
On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May we welcomed more than 250 riders and spectators for an action packed two days at our new Mayfield home. For the Dirt Factory team, it was a great landmark to celebrate and it was fantastic to see so many different riders having fun, gaining confidence and progressing their bike skills.
The bar was well and truly raised on our air-bag high jump competition whilst over on our pump track, some super-fast lap times were set. The Sunday skills courses went down a treat and outside, a team of graffiti artists created a brand new art wall that has added colour to our entrance ramp.
We’d like to send massive thanks to the 50:01 crew for dropping in, supporting our Pop-Up launch event and inspiring riders of all ages. A big thank you goes to Trek Manchester Piccadilly, Madison Saracen and Swifty Scooters for bringing down some demo bikes and scooters for attendees to try. Our team would also like to thank street food traders, Mio Pizza and Wrapscallion, for keeping everyone well fed over the two days.
Now we’re officially open we have set timetables for both term-time and holiday periods. You’re welcome to turn up, sign in and ride whenever we’re open. The Dirt Factory Pop-Up will also be holding some skills courses and beginner’s courses over the coming months so keep an eye out for dates if you’re interested.
Thanks again to everyone who helped us celebrate our Pop-Up Launch Event and we hope to see you again soon on the Dirt Factory trails.
Happy riding,
Dan
